  • Presented at the 2013 National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Conference in Washington DC –“Boost Communication: An SLP shares Brain-Based Techniques to Enhance Communication Skills”.
  • Presented at the 2014 Appalachian Association for the Education of Young Children (AAEYC) Head to Toe Infant Toddler Institute in Blountville TN –“Boost Communication: Tips from a Speech-Language Pathologist”.
  • Recognized as an "Irreplaceable Teacher" by the TN State Department of Education. 
  • Presented at the 2009 Tennessee Board of Education Special Education Conference in Nashville TN- “RTI: Response to Intervention or Road to Insanity?” regarding implementation of a data-driven general education-based intervention for speech and language delays.
  • Developed and wrote the manual for the “Response to Intervention: Guidelines for SLPs” in Jefferson County Schools in 2008-2009
