I taught the whole curriculum to the class including, Numeracy, Literacy, Science, Art, Geography, History, Design and Technology, ICT, P.E and R. E. Geography Co-coordinator for the school. This involved ensuring that the correct key skills were being covered by each age group, organizing events such as world awareness week and being in charge of the yearly budget for the subject. Worked closely with my year group colleague to enhance and develop a more creative and thematic approach. Member of the curriculum team-working towards a new creative curriculum. Organised Extra Curricular clubs for children from different age groups, such as rounders, netball, cookery and gardening. Worked closely with the SEN department to develop IEPs for the wide range of children with Special Educational Needs within the class. Creating new teaching methods in numeracy to enable children to meet their school based targets. Designed extension program for gifted and talented children Pastoral care to children needing emotional, behavioural and social support.
