Work Philosophy:

I strive to do my best in all work environments. I naturally attain leadership roles as I take initiative to efficiently and successfully complete tasks. I form comfortable relationships with my superiors and fellow employees to make work days enjoyable. I expect the best from myself and others. I am outgoing and confident enough to politely correct or advise when I notice a problem. .

Short-term Goals:

o  Run a half-marathon

o  Become a registered dietitian

o  Study abroad to a Spanish-speaking nation

o  Intern to gain experience in the field of nutrition

o  Decide a focus area for nutrition

Long-term Goals:

o  Attain a job working as a clinical registered dietitian in a hospital or business that specializes innutrition      or weight loss

o  Be able to financially support myself

o  Volunteer for a service trip to aid underdeveloped communities

o  Participate in a research study 

o  Gain certification to teach exercise classes


o  Academic All-Star in English 2011- Memphis newspaper Commercial Appeal recognizes students               throughout the city that excel in a subject

o  Miss SBA 2011- High school faculty select two students (one male and one female each year) that          best represent the school's values

o  Presidential Scholarship to The University of Alabama (full tuition   for 8 semesters)

o  Member of The Honors College

     Led student body in school traditions and organized and led various fundraising events for charitable        causes

     Toured new and prospective students and their families around high school


o   Al's Pals of UA Community Service Center (fall 2011-spring  2012)

     Helped at-risk mentees with homework, reinforced reading and math skills, and joined them in                  enriching and recreational   activities.

o  Apwonjo (2011-now)                                                                                   

     Raise awareness and funds for relief and issues in Africa

o  Tuscaloosa Red Cross volunteer (2011)                                     

     Helped local elementary school with its food drive
