I Interned at Seneca Insurance Company for the past three summers.  Here I worked in the accounting department and reviewed many of their records.  Additionally, I analyzed several claims and determined wheather the individuals injured in various insurance claims were eligible for medicare.  I was assigned smaller assignments on a daily basis that usually involved the use of excel as well as other computer systems.

County Legislator, Dave Denenberg

Campaigned with Legislator Dave Denenberg.  Went door to door spreading the word of his ideas and interacting with people.  Made several phone calls a day trying to persuade the public towards voting for Dave Denenberg, and sent out personalized post cards to the residents of Denenberg's district.

Strong organizational skills – I am a take charge person who completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner.  I have a passion for marketing, finance and work very well in group settings.

Summary

I am a second year at the University of Virginia.  At the moment, my major is undeclared, but I hope to enter into the McIntire School of Commer next year.  There, I intend on concentrating in Marketing and Accounting.

I love brainstorming new, creative ideas as well as setting up events that require promotion and advertisment.  Here at UVa, I have been involving myself in many organizations that allow me to do so.

I am a member of the marketing team for Leadership Initiatives.  I am creating and executing a marketing plan for Leadership Intiatives to gain recognition through the Colbert Report.

Sigma Kappa- Social Committee:

I help organize and set up social activities with other organizations through e-mail and consistent contact with other sorrorities and fraternities.

Madison House's Adopt a Grandparent:

Each week I visit a local nursing home and entertain one specific resident by talking, and participating in various activities with her.  Additionally, I have organized service events at the nursing home.

Warm Up America:

On a weekly basis, I knit square patches to ultimately be sewed together into a quilt for the homeless.

International Student Volunteers:

I spent the month of July planting trees and doing conservation work in order to maintain the natural habitat of New Zealand's North Island forests.
