Founder, President, and CEO of ladies’ hat manufacturer Rose Visor, Inc., Ray Navis maintains a consistent balance between his professional and personal life. Since 1990, Rose Visor, Inc. has brought strong returns for Ray Navis and his associates, as Rose Visor products have appeared on the heads of such celebrities as Kutilda Woods (mother of Tiger Woods), Sarah Ferguson (Duchess of York), Cheryl Ladd, Connie Chung, and Eva Gabor. Coming to this position after numerous years pursuing a variety of career objectives, Ray Navis imbues his work with lessons gained from his days as an undergraduate at Stanford University. In 1978, Ray Navis earned an A.B. in Economics from Stanford and immediately set out to carve a successful path in his life and career. At the same time, Ray Navis devoted his resources and energy to the pursuit of his other passion, golf. While a student, Ray Navis played for the Stanford University Men’s Golf Team and would maintain regular involvement in the game after graduation. Competing in various invitational and member-guest events over the years, Ray Navis built a strong foundation in the sport and collected a number of trophies for his performance. Today, Ray Navis boasts more than 30 wins in such events, highlighted by some key achievements. As San Diego County BB Champion in 1990, Ray Navis went on to repeat his accomplishment the following year. A member of the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA), Ray Navis became runner-up at its 1992 Four-Ball Scratch Championship and qualified several times for the SCGA Amateur and Mid-Amateur tournaments. Ray Navis additionally won the Coronado City Amateur Championship in 1995. A longtime resident of Santa Barbara, California, Ray Navis works and plays in and around his home city.
