About Raymond Nobu Chang

Raymond Nobu Chang recently served as the chief executive officer of New Focus Automobile, based in Shanghai, China. He oversaw the company’s expansion to more than 200 after-sales service locations. Among other achievements, Raymond Nobu Chang secured $160 million in strategic investment funds from CDH, a respected private equity firm.

Prior to his tenure with New Focus, he founded Luckypai Limited, a television shopping business. He gained capital backing for the group from such ventures as DT Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, and Goldman Sachs. Within five years, he led Luckypai to a valuation of $250 million.

Preparing for his career, Mr. Chang completed a bachelor’s degree in economics and East Asian studies at New York University. He later attended the Yale University School of Management and received an MBA with an emphasis in finance. Additionally, he earned an MA in public administration at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
