For over 30 years, Raymond Debbane has immersed himself in the financial and investment sector of the business world. During the course of his academic and professional careers, Mr. Debbane has developed a valuable understanding of the intricacies of the industry. He has used his knowledge and experience for the benefit of a variety of companies, serving on numerous boards of directors and holding the title of President and Chief Executive Officer of The Invus Group, LLC.

Raymond Debbane earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Agricultural Engineering from the American University of Beirut. His interest in agriculture led to a Master of Science in Food Science and Technology from the University of California, Davis, while his aptitude for business inspired him to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. In 1979, shortly after receiving his MBA, Raymond Debbane accepted a position as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group in Paris, France, and was promoted to Manager three years later. For more than five years, he helped world-class multinational client companies of this leading global management consulting firm to develop a variety of winning strategies. In 1985, Raymond Debbane launched The Invus Group, LLC. The company remains the exclusive investment advisor for the European-based family investment vehicle Artal Group S.A. Invus seeks to discover companies that are poised to transform their industries and run by owner-managers who have a passion and a vision to fully realize the potential of their business. Mr. Debbane takes a long-term, comprehensive approach and provides full financial and support to Invus’ owner-manager partners, who can focus on running their companies and achieving their vision over time. He continues to utilize his insight into global investment opportunities to lead The Invus Group.
