After 5 years in the Energy Industry, I made the leap to become an independent Energy Consultant. I work with home owners, builders, and property managers to lower residential energy consumption in accordance with Achieving Balance, Ontario’s updated Long-Term Energy Plan, the province’s blueprint for a safe, clean, reliable and affordable energy future.
I help provide eligible households with government rebates for upgrading heating and cooling equipment. As a certified Google Nest Pro, I work with programs that provide homeowners with Nest Thermostats. Thermostats control half of household energy bills - more than appliances, more than electronics.
By providing guidance to students who are intending to initiate an entrepreneurial venture, I aid students and professors to start businesses within the institution environment by helping them develop ideas, organize themselves and follow the right path towards making these ideas into reality.
Product development and marketing strategy. Led a team of 2 designers and 4 developers to create apps embedded with low-cost and innovative alternatives to traditional marketing. Built marketing into the product to ensure the product's potential growth by including user acquisition, on-boarding, monetization, retention, and virality, into the product itself.
I guided a team charged with product line contribution as a business unit. This extended from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. I built products from existing ideas and contributed to the development of new ideas based on industry knowledge and contact with customers and prospects. I found innovative solutions for the broader market by understanding problems in specific markets.
I communicated with all areas of the company to define product release requirements, the go-to-market strategy, and set product positioning, key benefits, and target customers. I also served as the internal and external evangelist for product offerings, occasionally working with the sales channel and key customers.
Provided advice and service to TD's Small Business Banking (SBB) customers and TD Canada Trust (TDCT) Branch employees. Recognized that sales are the highest form of customer service, with the core responsibility to provide a legendary customer experience to SBB customers and retail partners.
Neuroscience encompasses aspects of a variety of disciplines that have the common goal of understanding how the nervous system works. Psychology is that branch of science which seeks to understand behaviour and mind. Why human act as they do is one of the most compelling and longstanding questions in the history of human thought.
I tailored my degree to study Consumer Behavior. It focused on the study of individuals, groups, and organizations and the processes they use to select, secure, use, and dispose of products, services, experiences, or ideas to satisfy needs and the impacts that these processes have on the consumer and society.
Gamification is the application of game elements and digital game design techniques to non-game problems, such as business and social impact challenges. This course teaches the mechanisms of gamification, why it has such tremendous potential, and how to use it effectively.
