KG, a Germany based engineering company having interests in varied industries with the prime focus on the textile industry. Within the Oerlikon Group, the Barmag represents the leading Textile Machinery brand in the Man Made Fibre(MMF) industry; globally. I am reporting to the MD and am accountable for the sales of parts & pumps in addition to operations of precision gear metering pumps facility and the inventory & purchase functions. Notable Achievements are - setting-up Precision Gear Metering pumps manufacturing facility in record time, establishing manufacturing systems to achieve the highest quality standards, increasing sales of parts by twelve times, increasing sales of pumps by five times, helping in indigenization of some parts, helping in improving the processes to shorten the response time, playing key role in the successful implementation of the SAP (SD & MM modules) & E-commerce, mooting idea of setting-up a local joint venture for manufacturing of the pumps and supporting various organisation-wise initiatives like core value ambassador, CSR, HSE, Operational Excellence etc.
