Instructor of secondary music and drama. Classroom duties have included teaching of middle and high school concert bands, marching and jazz bands, music theory, guitar class, high school general music, music technology, group lessons and stagecraft class.

Extended duties include department chair, long range planning lead/author, peer trainer in technology and integrated academics, audio-visual coordinator, theatrical production (director and conductor), podcasting club, and various other projects.

Earned degree in music education with certification teching K-12. Additional coursework in music theory, composition, instrumental arranging, and other fine arts related subjects. Applied instrumental focus on trumpet, classical guitar, and bass. Served as student composer, arranger, and conductor for instrumental groups including brass ensemble and jazz band. Held leadership positions within the music department and a variety of campus organizations.

orchestra and musical comedy pit groups
