Dr. Randy Meltzer began his 30-year practice as a chiropractic and naturopathic physician at the Integral Yoga Institute in New York City in 1980 before leaving to open his own holistic health practice, Meltzer Natural Health Care Center. Meltzer Natural Health Care Center quickly expanded to become one of the largest practices of its kind in the New York area. In 1979,Dr. Randy Meltzer earned his Doctor of Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York. Dr. Randy Meltzer has also studied herbal medicine, homeopathy, and Chinese meridian therapy, which draws from the methods of acupressure. Dr. Randy Meltzer was personally certified to practice Iridology by the technique's founder, Dr. Bernard Jensen. Dr. Randy Meltzer regularly employs the method of applied kinesiology to comprehensively evaluate the function of each system in the body as well as its level of nutrients and toxins. This technique, also known as Muscle Response Testing, allows Dr. Randy Meltzer to examine the function of his patients' bodies as an entire system, rather than only examining one part at a time. In addition to his work with applied kinesiology, Dr. Randy Meltzer practices a unique approach to chiropractic adjustments known as the Directional Non-Force Technique. Through the Directional Non-Force Technique, Dr. Randy Meltzer gently adjusts his patients' spines, which subtly improves spinal alignment and function, and which can greatly reduce back pain and discomfort.
Dr. Randy Meltzer often speaks at the New York Open Center, the Whole Life Expo, and the Integral Yoga Institute, while also serving as a consultant and teacher for Nature's Way Products, Inc., the largest American herbal medicine manufacturer.
