Randy Fink served as Senior Vice President-Houston Commercial Lending Manager for Southwest Securities, FSB, from early 2010 to late 2011. Randy Fink focused on establishing the firm’s Houston office, managing a team of two relationship managers, a loan assistant, and an analyst. He initiated numerous commercial lending and depositor relationships, with loan commitments totaling $60 million and deposits $6 million. Randy Fink also held responsibilities as Senior Vice President-Commercial Group Manager with First Bank in Houston from 2002 to 2010. Overseeing a commercial portfolio exceeding $185 million in outstanding loans and $225 million in commitments, he managed the activities of several relationship managers. Throughout his years with First Bank, he sourced new business opportunities such as loans, deposits, and fee-based income. Randy Fink earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, graduating magna cum laude and with Beta Gamma Sigma honor society affiliation. From 1990 to 1993, he undertook duties as Bank Examiner in Lubbock and Seattle with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). His FDIC responsibilities primarily involved onsite reviews of financial institutions, by which he determined their legal and regulatory compliance status as well as their financial conditions. In 1993, Randy Fink accepted a position as Credit Process Review Officer with Wells Fargo Bank/Norwest Corporation. His position entailed credit reviews and due diligence (in partnership with holding companies) on potential corporate acquisitions throughout Texas. He subsequently accepted more advanced responsibilities as Vice President and Team Leader, working out of corporate offices in Austin and Houston. A former collegiate golfer, Mr. Fink continues to play in golf tournaments in his free time.
