Bartender/Server

Summary

I have worked in the customer service field in one form or another since I was 16.  My work ethic and moral conscience were instilled successfully in me by mother, grandparents, and uncles.  I enjoy learning new things, making people laugh, and generally just being around people.  Sports and music are a huge part of my life and am thankful for all the people I've been able to meet because of them.

Objectives

  • To continue to learn and grow while providing superior guest experiences
  • I strive to bring enjoyment to everyone I encounter especially in the workplace
  • To exceed expectations while working in a fun and fast paced environment

Work History

Work History
May 2012 - May 2015

Bartender/server

Salerno's

The bar/restaurant had a huge foundation built on regular clientele.  My job was to ensure their utmost satisfaction while not neglecting fresh faces.  It was extremely rare to tend to a new face and not see them return.  Everyday duties included: making cocktails quickly while ensuring the integrity of whatever was being made, stocking, cleaning, and promoting.

Oct 2009 - Apr 2012

Shift leader

The Cheesecake Factory

My job was to oversee staff operations while providing superior service to our guests.  I had to memorize over 250 menu items to be able to match a dish to accommodate the palate of our patrons.  The management team entrusted in me the task of training new employees, and giving documented reviews of the current ones while reporting directly back to management.

Aug 2006 - Jul 2009

Lead Bartender

Lonestar Steakhouse & Saloon

My job included making drinks, stocking, and cleaning while being able to serve multiple tables to help keep labor costs at a minimum.  The bar manager and myself would do the liquor orders together weekly.  As a closer I would have to make sure everything in the restaurant was in order before dismissing the other staff.
