DESIGN OF AN EMBEDDED SYSTEM FOR EARLY DETECTION OF EARTHQUAKE

An efficient design of a digital filter and microcontroller interface in the earthquake early detection system is implemented also an alarm is included which initiates automatic response systems to reduce the chance of life injury and property damage. In this project, the embedded system is implemented using ALTERA cyclone II EP2C20F484C7 device. The design is tested on an ALTERA DE1 FPGA Board.

Tool    :           ALTERA.

EDGE DETECTION TECHNIQUES FOR A DIGITAL IMAGE CORRUPTED WITH   NOISE 

 Masking an image with Robert’s cross operator, Prewitt’s operator, Sobel’s operator, Canny’s operator, Zero crossing operator to find the edge of the image.

                        Adding Gaussian, Poisson, Speckle Noise’s to the image and performing masking on the image to find the edge of the corrupted image.

Tool     :           MATLAB.
