Role and Responsibilities:

  • Installation and trouble shooting of communication protocols such as CAN bus, RS 232, Field bus, fiber optic cables etc.
  • Installation and application of sensors such as inductive proximity sensors, RTD, Thermocouples, PT 100 sensor, pressure transducers, Encoder, Resolver, Strain gauge, Wind vane, Anemometersetc.
  • Installation and trouble shooting of Frequency drives (VFD), IGBTs, converters, Inverters, Crow bar circuit,Controller cards, Power contactors, AC/DC motors and DC power supply units.
  • Application of PLC Controller-Bachmann, and various wind turbine software’s like SCADA.
  • Handled different types of circuit breakers, contactors, PLC relays.
  • Commissioning, operation and maintenance of Wind Energy Converters (WEC).
  • Responsible for conversion of design/drawing into physical product during prototyping phase.
  • Worked on the latest turbine technology-DFIG (Doubly Fed Induction Generator).
