A working professional skilled in Refinery operations, process optimization & troubleshooting having experience in various process units of a reputed oil refinery of India (Indian Oil). I have an experience of more than 6.5 years in Refinery Processes and Refinery Operations. I have completed my Chemical Engineering from Department of Chemical Engineering, Panjab University in 2009 and joined Indian Refinery major, Indian Oil Corporation limited. I have worked in Sulphur Recovery Unit, Amine RegenerationUnit, Tail Gas Treating Unit, Sour Water Stripping Unit and Bitumen Blowing Unit in the past. Currently I am working in FCC Gasoline De-sulphurization Unit (Prime-G +, Axens). I started my career as a DCS operations engineer. I was also involved in commissioning of 60 TPD SRU-4 at Mathura Refinery. I have an experience
of working on Honeywell & ABB systems. Currently I am working as a Shift-in-Charge from the last 4 years.I have keen desire of working with a reputed organisation which can challenge my problem solving skills further and where I continue to develop my knowledge and potential.

Production Engineer (Indian Oil Corporation Limited)

Sulphur Recovery Unit 
  • Read and analyze specifications, schedules, logs, and test results to determine changes to equipment controls required to produce specified product.
  • Observes instruments, gauges, and meters to verify conformance to specified quality and quantity of product.
  • Inspects equipment and listens for automated warning signals to determine location and nature of malfunction, such as leaks and breakage.
  • Compiles and records operating data, instrument readings, documents, and results of laboratory analyses.
  • Samples and tests liquids and gases for chemical characteristics and color of products, or send products to laboratory for analysis.
  • Operates auxiliary equipment and controls multiple processing units during distilling or treating operations.
  • Monitors and adjusts unit controls to ensure safe and efficient operating  conditions.
  • Operates control panel to coordinate and regulate process variables and to direct product flow rate, according to prescribed schedules.
