Creative Direction

Public Relations

As a highly experienced and trusted media relations expert, I work daily with regional, national and international editors and reporters across the consumer and trade spectrum. By understanding and meeting the needs of working journalists, I maintain lasting relationships with the media and serve as a valued resource. My experience spans two decades.

Strategic Marketing Planning

Content without an objective framework is pointless. That's why I develop marketing content and communications tactics around predefined goals and strategies - whether clients seek to boost short-term sales or build thought leadership in the markets they serve.

Copywriting and Content Marketing

With hundreds of professional copy projects to my credit, I am uniquely adept at giving clients a distinctive and powerful voice. Specific areas of expertise include Web site content, newsletters and e-mail content, news releases, white papers, case studies, bylined articles, brochures and collateral, corporate blog writing, surveys and market intelligence, direct mail/sales letters/charitable appeals, public relations and advertising.   A former award-winning journalist, my talents lie in synthesizing information from a variety of sources, sifting through technical jargon, translating complicated concepts into easily accessible material, and projecting a clean, straightforward tone. I've also run large client engagements and knows how client service should really be delivered. Dependable, accountable and creatively charged, my professional experience spans nearly 20 years.   David's background is in business-to-business marketing and business journalism. That means I am an experienced, successful marketer and an expert writer - not one or the other. I'm also well-versed in broad areas of business, industry, technology, finance and construction, giving me a fast learning curve in any vertical.   Additionally, you can trust me to speak with your customers or colleagues and make a sound impression. I've interviewed hundreds of sources for literally thousands of bylined articles and client projects. From CEOs and middle managers to line workers and the proverbial man on the street, chances are good that I've interviewed them at some point.
