Interests and Community Service

Interests

Reading - Reading is without a doubt one of my favorite pastimes.  I enjoy almost anything fiction, and hate textbooks less than most other students.

Music - I enjoy music so much that I am hoping to make a career of it.  I find it enjoyable to play or listen to, and hopefully will even write some eventually.

Volleyball - Volleyball is definitely the most fun sport for me out of all the ones I've tried.  I'm not horrific at it, and it is something that can be played even at a higher age (it was originally developed as a less rigorous sport than basketball for the elderly).

Community Service

Fundraisers for the High school music program. 30+ hours.  Includes car washes, rummage sales, restaurant service, and even mattress sales.

East County Youth Symphony. 60+ hours.  Practices and concerts with the goal of providing the public with entertainment.

Southwest Horn Convention 2014. 15+ hours.  Assisted with event set-up and break-down of activities.
