Summary

I'm currently a final year Mechanical engineering student from India. I'm a highly ambituous person and deeply passionate about autombiles. I'm seeking out oppurtunities that will help me apply my knowledge and skills that I got in the past 3 years through my formal education and the industrial exposure. 

Apart from this I'm inclined towards the creative fields and constanly find myself exploring different forms of visual medias such as digital art, sketching, photography, videography and motion graphics. I enjoy reading, following the latest technolgy trends, speed cubing and spending Sundays watching Formula 1. Also I'm a beleiver of the philosophy of how design and technology always goes together which was famously popularized by Steve Jobs.

The training comprised of a thorough understanding of the entire production process in the Weld Shop. I had to do a thorough analysis of two Tata passenger vehicles, Bolt and Zest, for my project "A Study to Reduce the Number of Robots in X1 Weld Line". This project allowed savings in energy and reduce human workforce.

 This training taught me the functioning of crude oil refineries. IOCL being the largest public corporation in India in terms of revenue, the experience here was unlike any other.

21 days training at an automotive workshop and maintenance facility. Got hands on experience with fixing and analyzing common vehicular problems and related issues and how to fix them.

Projects

  • A Study to Reduce the Number of Robots in X1 Weld Line

The training comprised of a thorough understanding of the entire production process in the Weld Shop. The project assigned to me was: "A Study to Reduce the Number of Robots in X1 Weld Line". Along with two of my project partners, we did a thorough analysis of two Tata passenger vehicle models: Tata Zest and Tata Bolt. By the end of the internship period we concluded our study by proposing 24 robots that could be removed from the X1 weld line. If implemented, this proposal would increase the energy savings of the company manifold, reduce the workforce needed and the unnecessary expenditure.

• Hands-on experience with KUKA robot mastering and programming
