Throughout his life and career, investment analyst and financial services manager Brian Miskew has maintained involvement in a vast array of educational, professional, charitable, and personal endeavors, striving for excellence in each of his pursuits. Growing up near Kansas City, Brian Miskew graduated from Shawnee Mission East High School before moving to Tucson to enroll at the University of Arizona. Over the span of his four years at the University of Arizona, Brian Miskew attended classes in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, where he completed coursework in Communications and Business Administration. Upon receipt of his B.A. from the University of Arizona in May 2002, Brian Miskew launched his career in financial services, securing an entry-level position at The Hartford in Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania. Beginning as a Sales Coordinator of The Hartford Annuity products, Brian Miskew has since ascended the ranks at The Hartford, earning a series of promotions to Internal Sales Representative of The Hartford’s Annuity products, Assistant Manager of Hartford Mutual Funds, and Product Specialist of Hartford Funds working with the Investment Consulting Group, a position that he holds to this day. In the latter role, Brian Miskew has earned The Hartford’s Amigo Award for the 4th time in 2008 and the 2010 Standing Ovation Award. He also graduated with an M.B.A. from the Villanova School of Business in 2009. Brian Miskew also holds certification as a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC), and gained his Pennsylvania Securities Commission, Series 63, and Series 7 licenses. Recognized for his charitable contributions, Brian Miskew learned the value of community service as a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity at the University of Arizona. Today, Brian Miskew donates his time, energy, and resources to organizations that fund cancer research, including the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and Movember. In his free time, Brian Miskew enjoys running, working out at the gym, and playing piano whenever possible. An avid reader as well, Brian Miskew can often be found with the latest editions of The Economist, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and The Wall Street Journal.
