Thoughts.....

"The drive of every church should be a passion to reach the unchurched and to make disciples. Everything that occurs in ministry should, in one way or another, be aimed at this target."

MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY:

  • BIBLICAL FOUNDATION
  • A HEART TO KNOW GOD
  • MISSIONAL MINDSET
  • CREATIVE COMMUNICATION
  • UNDERSTAND THE CULTURE
  • KEEP RELATIONSHIPS PRIMARY
  • EXCELLENCE AND CREATIVITY

MINISTRY PHILOSOPHY

"All ministries should center on Biblical truth, not manmade beliefs or traditions. We must evaluate everything we do in light of what the Scripture actually says, not what we think it says or hope it says."

Fred McClure is the Pulpit Minister of Christ's Church at  Birmingham located in Fairfield, AL. He is devoted and dedicated to his beautiful wife, Marilyn, and their four loving children, Ciara, Fred, Shallette, and Ariel, who are very active and supportive in the church.

Fred helped to establish the Inner City Ministry at Christ's Church in November 1990 with the support of the Homewood Church of Christ. Many hearts and lives are still being changed by this Ministry. Christ's Church @ Birmingham was created with a vision to reach out to the poor, homeless, and the disenfranchised of our society.

Fred's love for God and people and his down to earth preaching style and humor has made him a much sought after speaker at revivals, retreats, universities, youth rallies and other church related events.

In addition, Fred has appeared on television, radio and has preached in nearly every state. He has also done mission work in Guyana.

One of his favorite quotes, "It's Great To Be A Christian, Amen" has become an adopted lifestyle for him and his Ministry.
