·Shouldered the overall responsibility in P & L of the Division

·Overall responsibility in P & L of the Service Division. Changed the overall attitude of Service Team from the Cost centre thinking to a Profit Driven, Profit oriented Division.
·Managed the Entire Service Set-up for the Indian subcontinent including Bangladesh & Maldives.
·Set-up the Service Department from Scratch to now a world renowned service centre in India. Have employed right people, trained them in handling customer complaints, instilled Sales sense in the service team, and conducted training for Distributors and Dealers in the Country.
·Have aggressively promoted Service Sales to the Customers. Established Quick turnaround and continuously exceeded expectations.
·Brought Energy and vigor to the Entire Service Team and in 2005, Service Team in India won the best Service Award from Grundfos Denmark. This was clearly an effort from my team.

Major Job involves sales & marketing, estimation for local manufacturing; promote local manufacturing, pre-qualification, tendering process, contract execution and contract management. Currently executing low pressure and high pressure well heads contract independently.
During this period, I had been in good contacts with all levels in PDO Contracts Sections for finalizing the contracts and implementation and execution of contracts.
The job involves independently managing a profit center the Sales Division of the Joint Venture including HP/LP Contracts Management, Internal Sales, Purchase, Logistics, Customer support. Parallel responsibility included development of Manufacturing of LP & HP Well head components as this was a pre requisite in the Contract from PDO besides participating in local tendering process of all purchases from PDO and other drilling contractors.
The main tasks assigned to me were increasing the manufacturing of new well head equipments in close coordination with Cameron Area Manager, PDO and the Managing Director of the Joint Venture. This was challenging task and this has seen a greater development in the next 4 years.
Had conducted detailed study for each item and established local manufacturing Costs and Margins and the system has been running smoothly as on date.
PURCHASING AND LOGISTICS - RESPONSIBILITY
Also, Under my responsibility is Handling Procurement of Well Head Equipments & Drilling Equipments, Monitoring Inventory levels of the items in Stock, Stock Replenishment, Sourcing of products and Raw Material Worldwide from Reputed Manufacturers, Negotiation for better prices, Co-ordination with Local Freight Forwarders and their oversees partners for Material shipments by Air, Sea and all available modes of transportation, Providing Logistics support and Overseeing the Repair facility. Well versed with Letter of Credits and other shipment documentation. Have handled many vendors worldwide and have built a firm reputation for practicing ETHICS in all the deals.
Actively involved Dealing with international suppliers, sourcing of materials, negotiations, purchasing, follow-up. Have maintained an excellent relationship with customers and Principals and have many appreciations from customers and principals.
Had been promoted in 2002 to Senior Management and appointed as Sales & Aftermarket Manager. The new responsibility assigned to me (besides the above jobs carried out during 1999-2002) was Stores/Warehouse and Aftermarket Responsibilities.
This promotion was purely on meritorious grounds and had brought in changes within the Department and also revamped the stores/warehouse operations including purchases at stores to control improper purchasing. Contributed towards reduction of slow moving and non moving inventory using six sigma methods and brought down inventory to a greater extent.
Have been an integral part of the company’s objectives and quality standards. Have a very satisfied customer base. Have always been cost conscious and professionally Organized all cost control methods, adopted effective selling strategies, customer focused and have continuously exceeded targets with hard work, sincerity and dedication particularly Oman being .a very demanding buyer market. Also been through two Quality Audits of ISO & API audits and have always won accolades from both Cameron and Smith Management and hence was promoted.
