Summary

Experience.

I have for the last eight years been working in various roles within the supply chain.These include buying, cost engineer and new parts introduction. I have been succesful in all three roles and still wish to work within purchasing for the future. My background is ideal as I have a vey good knowledge of materials and processes within manufacturing.

In the last role I had experience of project planning, managing suppliers and full reponsibility for the project.

For the future I would still like to work within the supply chain, perhaps as a manager of the supply chain or a small team.

Dealing with the supply chain to overhaul aviation components. Placing Purchase orders, dealing with invoices, expediting parts to delivery dates, reporting exceptions to logistics. Full responsibility for quality, logistics and commercial aspects which include reviewing suppliers and contracts.

Parts Introduction Controller

Exiting & new parts introduction within the supply chain. Formulating project and Line of balance plans to achieve timescales. Risk assesments and mitigation to ensure project has total buy in from stakeholders. reporting out on achievements and problems.
