Estimator/ Project Manager – Responsible for take-offs, specification review, preparing quotes, quote presentation (teleconference or in person) and explanation and closing of multimillion dollar commercial concrete construction quotes. Quotes consisted itemized breakdown of structural concrete components and included materials, labor and any special treatments. Prior to signing of any contract , responsible for contract review in order to assure that contract requirements match the quote. After the contracted has been sign, preparing the field personnel for subsequent build per contract documents and any additions and deductions.

Divisional liaison with Corporate Legal Department for outside disclosures, infringement clearance, confidentiality agreements and patent ability. Provided Division Managers support. Managed budgets in excess of $6,000,000.00. Developed and implemented plans for plant expansions, capital outlays, purchase of new equipment for Costa Rican operation.

Developed and implemented plans for plant expansions. Developed labeling product lines for various industrial applications, many of these lines enjoy growth rates in excess of 50%. Identified and initiated $500,000 out-of-pocket cost savings. Developed and initiated activity-based initiatives for allocating plant and staff costs more effectively. Developed hand held and table top printing system for electrical, piping and telecommunication and construction industry. Identified and instituted changes to eliminate negative manufacturing variances of $2,500,000. Managed software development. Project Engineer (1990 – 1996) - Designed and implemented new products and technologies. They included a Class 10,000 clean room for manufacturing thin film circuit and various digital-printing technologies. Identified and developed a line of laser printable labels which annually accounts for 25% of Division sales and currently enjoys a 40% profit margin. Developed several lines of safety and facilities identification products with annual sales of $2.3 million to meet ADA and OSHA standards. Product Manager (1984 – 1989) Responsible for handling customer inquiries, distributor visits, sales presentations, conducting competitive analysis and creating and implementing the Division’s 5-year strategic plan. Managing the Division’s product lines including pricing, quotations, and non-standard costs. Expanded the Division’s sales from $600,000 to $6,000,000. Identified and introduced computer printable products, which now represent 50% of the Division’s total sales. Introduced Panduit’s first wire identification software packages. Introduced a line of telecommunication and utility identification products, which accounted for 25% of Division sales.
