Based at Halewood Assembly Plant enjoyed new product launch responsibility for all aspects of Interior Trim leading a team of 6-8 direct reports and full-service suppliers to resolve design, manufacturing and quality problems from pre-Job 1 builds.

Major Accomplishments
  • Successfully introduced 1300+ engineering changes to meet launch quality targets over an 18 month timeframe
  • Launch on time through maintaining team motivation and providing guidance for problem resolution¬†
Principal Planner - X-Type Freshening & Estate Programs

Whole vehicle Program Planning and Project Management responsibilities for a combined legal/minor cosmetic Freshening program from <program> through <job>. Responsible to meet program targets through a deliverables framework -presenting R/Y/G status and issue resolution to Steering Team, Gateway and Launch Review events

Major Accomplishments
  • Incorporated late content changes to address Marketing and Quality improvements following initial product launch through hands-on management of supply base and agreement to achievable timing feasibility with the plant
  • Authored the Product Letter documents detailing new content and available options
  • Pre-graining and final Appearance Approval coordination of Color & Trim revisions
  • Improved satisfaction ratings and reduced problems as measured by JD Power
    • JD Power reported fewest interior problems in segment 2004-08

  • A pivotal and life-changing event to experience another country and appreciate the diversity of another culture

An example is my British 'accent' - always a conversation starter - I believe I have greater audience attention span when giving presentations and people 'listen' to me rather than just 'hear' what I have to say because of it.
