Team Work

  • Worked in a team on a weekly basis at Carpe Noctum's 'Crisis', the most popular student night in Nottingham run on Wednesdays. We would each have different roles and constantly communicate with one another in regards to the happenings and dilemmas on the night
  • When working as a tour guide for the National Trust, though we individually led groups, we worked as a group in rotation in order to handle the influx of visitors. Furthermore where one's knowledge lacked or the group size too large, there was always somebody to lend a hand
  • Worked in the team that coordinated the BBC Antiques Roadshow, organising the various vendors of the day. Due to the thousands of visitors, communication with the rest of the team was key in order to ensure that the day ran smoothly
  • My course at university strongly urged group work and this included group presentations on a weekly basis. This ranged from presentations to meeting on a regular basis in order to divide work load equally as well as inform one another of each others research

Problem- Solving

Responsible for taking the entiriety of a Sales and Lettings Company's paper records to a sophisticated online index

Constantly dealt with the problems that came with properties and tenants and spent a large amount of time dealing with complaints and ways to deal with them.

At Carpe Noctum, it was essential to take the iniative and attempt to solve any issues regarding cameras and ticket machines myself as the venue was large and the manager not always at close proximity.
