A pioneer in online job search, Susan founded NETability, Inc., a Web site development, training, and consulting firm, in 1995, after being laid off as a Senior Operations Consultant at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC).

While teaching online job search at the Boston Computer Society and elsewhere, she turned to as a resource, saw the potential, and decided to buy it in 1998. Staggeringly impressive at the time, the site boasted 1,400 inbound links with about 2,000 outbound links.

Susan and Job-Hunt have been quoted by TIME Magazine, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune Magazine, Business Week Online, and many other books, publications, and Websites. In addition, Susan has been interviewed on radio and television.

The victim of a layoff herself, Susan understands and, through Job-Hunt, is dedicated to the millions of people faced with the disruption, emotional havoc, and financial impact of job loss. "A job loss can be a new beginning as well as an ending. A career is a process, not a destination! Don't give up!"
