Ø Vendor Transition Management: Formulated the IT strategy and thought leadership to successfully transition application support groups from Infosys to Syntel resulting in savings of 50% external costs.
Ø IT Offshore Strategy - Ledthe consolidation of internal Enterprise testing resources across 2 locations to 1 location and then setting up offshore teams by bringing in vendor partners resulting in savings of 60% costs.
Ø New Product Launch: Delivered a new Enterprise product used by 35,000 users countrywide called "Encompass Express"- a web based P&C insurance Ecommerce and policy management application incorporating the latest User Experience design concepts for ease of doing business. This New application user experience increased by 70% over the old system. Budget: $2.7M Duration: 2 years
Ø Comparative rater program - Delivered the system integration with third party Comparative raters and rolled out to 18 states with multiple vendors. Increased the quote volume by 80% and premium growth by 25% - Budget: $1.7M Duration: 1.5 years
Ø Data Center Project - Delivered a major Data Center Migration project which involved setting up a Data Center at a new location & consolidation from 3 data centers to 2 data My involvement in this enterprise wide program was to make sure all Encompass division applications (eCommerce, Policy admin, Data Marts) get migrated with software remediation / hardware upgrades also built into this program.
Ø Datawarehouse and Analytics Program - Revamped the existing Data warehouse and BI reporting analytics to a more user friendly intuitive dashboard style model for Encompass Business users. Budget: $1.15M Duration: 8 months.
