Duties:-

Provide quality IT advice, sales, implementation and management to a large group of New Zealand schools, colleges and businesses. Virtualization-HyperV and VMware. Configure and manage different server roles such as AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Backup, WDS, etc. Server builds, manage and migration-windows Server R2 and 2012, 2012R2. Build and deploy Mac OS using deploystudio. Configure and maintain MDM such as Meraki systems manager for Tablets. Support on switching and routing and firewalling. Desktop, MAC, Printer, Tablet Mobile phone support. Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Configure manage wireless-Unifi etc. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. Provide 2nd and 3rd level support Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution. Provide support to junior techs.

Administering the IT department's policies and procedures. Installation and support of telecommunication equipment. Maintaining a log of all problems detected and system backups. Responsible for maintaining backups and for project work such as new builds. Working closely with software suppliers to resolve operational issues.

IT TECHNICIAN HCC Pacific is an IT company which de-installs, audits, disk wipe and cleanses, refurbishes, images, re markets and dispatches end-of-life IT equipment for large organizations such as ASB, Fonterra, Infinity, Gen-i EDS, Fujitsu, Datacom, Vero and many other multinational companies(www.hccpacific.co.nz). Duties:- Responsible for upgrading, testing and repair of IT equipment(servers, networking equipment, printers, monitors, desktops, laptops, scanners, phones and more). Data entry of all equipment to be either sold or decommissioned. Customer service and Technical support. Perform security wipes on all storage media to department of defense standard. Prepared to work on projects outside of normal work hours within HCC or onsite for clients requiring new hardware setup. Usually done in teams of approximately 10 people. MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS Maintained a high level of rapport with senior team leaders and co-workers whilst continually meeting daily testing targets and SLAs Continually received appreciation from seniors for hard work, honesty reliability and team leader support for jobs done within and outside of workplace all around north island of New Zealand.
