My background is an unique blend both culturally and professionally. With degrees from top D-school and B-school, I consider myself a self motivated, multi dimensional and enthusiastic designer/ entrepreneur who has a deep desire in contributing to the community through my work.

With work experience of close to seven years I came to Pratt Institute, New York to take my skills to the next level. While at Pratt I focused on diversifying my skills well beyond the traditional boundaries of Interior Architecture and developed interest in Design Research, Planning, Historic Preservation, Exhibition Design, Industrial and Graphic Design.

While my work experience build the foundation of my techincal strengths, my education at Pratt helped me find myself, and I do believe it has eqiupped me with tools to reinvent the wheel, contribute to design and creating better living environments as I evolve.

Professional Highlights -· 7 years of work experience in Interior Architecture designing wide variety of projects ranging from hospitality, retail, high end residential, commercial and real estate.· An exceptional team player, who enjoys being a part of, as well as lead, a successful & productive team.· Deep interest in people and problem solving through design. . Strong technical background with excellent inter-personal and client management skills.

Academic Highlights - - Graduated with highest honor M.S Interior Design, Pratt Institute, New York.- Recipient of Pratt Circle Award " Excellence for Academic Achievements"- Part of the finalist team for a National Competition "Parks for People" which focused on reimagining     Americas National Parks which expanded my understanding of research and problem solving through design. - Project Manager and part of set design team for "Dancing Dreams", a spring dance performance for   physically challenged children in New York.- "Muji Unwind" Design Studio project focusing on branding and reprogramming MUJI in the American market was a part of Muji Exhibition at JFK International Airport, New York.

I have keen interest in exploring different cultures, art and history. While I Pratt I also developed interest in historic preservation, antropology and writing.

I love to travel and am an amateur photographer and painter. Having had an opportunity to live and work in two continents and travel many places I do believe I bring my diversity and unique blend of eastern and western values to my work and thought process.
