Diversity & Inclusion consultancy for both private and public sector organisations. Providing training, policy guidance, general support and public speaking, often with specialist transgender focus. Design and delivery of bespoke courses, including D&I introduction through to advanced considerations, current law, and action recommendations. Special services provided to ease the transition of trans pupils in schools and trans employees. 

Regularly working with charities such as Mermaids UK, Gires, Trans*formation and All About Trans.

Trans*formation are a networking and advocacy charity for professionals who identify as transgender. They also provide bespoke training and consultancy to businesses on trans matters.  

  • Developed and implemented all operational procedures - including introduction of new software to ensure effective collaboration of remote workers. 
  • Developed protocols for funding procurement - creating funding stream project plans. 
  • Secured a number of high profile training contracts and subsequently designed and delivered training sessions for those.
  • Designed and ran networking, fundraising and awareness events. 
  • Grew the professional network of development partners and new prospects.
  • Oversaw and engineered the re-branding and redevelopment of the company website.

Housing Support Worker

Stonewall Housing

Stonewall Housing is a specialist LGBT housing support provider in London. They provide services for LGBT people in their homes, as well as supported accomodation for 16 to 25 year olds.

  • Day to day management of supported accomodation hostels.
  • Provided one to one support and advice to supported housing service users. 
  • Developed and ran support programmes for service users, including- group sessions around independence, engagement, employment and education. 
  • Developed specialist training material for the wider organisation.
  • Followed all relevant safeguarding and privacy procedures, accredited with training every year.
  • Completed regular risk assessment and support planning for users.
  • Completed quarterly reporting in compliance with funding contracts for the service.
  • Assessed user referral to the service.
  • Liaised with local council housing services to educate and increase provision for LGBT homeless people.
  • Developed professional connections to create a support and referral network for service users.  
  • Appeared as a public speaker on LGBT housing issues.
  • Engaged in regular professional development in areas such as mental health awareness, NLP, exploitation prevention and, professional boundaries.
