Essence

Trusted to lead the key new client - Visa - through a rapid digital growth phase, based on my experience with Google Russia.

Now:

  • Key account manager on the new Visa account, responsible for defining the Essence offering in UAE & Russia.
  • Driving collaboration across media, analytics, systems and client services teams to develop process maps, RASCIs and SLAs for Visa.

Previously:

  • Supported Client Director and Essence co-founder in the pitch process for Visa.
  • Presented and got sign off for the Russian offering from the Visa Europe CMO and Visa RU Head of Digital.

Senior Account Executive (Client: Google)

Essence

Moved into Google EMEA Brand team, expanding scope of responsibility to campaigns in UK & DE .

  • Led a team of 10 to deliver Brand and Performance campaigns for five $2m+ Google: including award-winning campaigns for Hidden Cities (BE), Abbey Road (GB), Google App (EMEA)
  • Collaborated with EMEA Head of Strategy to present media plans, strategic, tactical approaches and performance reviews to senior management and clients across Europe.
  • Rolled out Asana as a project management tool to a team of 50, having first built the business case for Essence management team.
  • Created processes and documentation to manage creative agencies through briefing and production of assets.
  • Managed external stakeholders (local, global clients, off-line agencies, social agencies) - clients in London, Moscow, Paris and Hamburg, creative agencies in London, Moscow and Amsterdam.

Essence

Joined the fastest-growing team at Essence to help Google establish its presence in the Russian market.

  • Developed a process to streamline supplier invoicing and communication, leading to 25% shorter invoicing lead times and improved supplier relationships.
  • Signed commercial deals with 20 leading digital publishers in RU, establishing the Essence RU trading practice.
  • Created a RU publisher database to be used agency-wide.
  • Moved internal publisher communication from email into Trello, to aid internal alignment.
  • Developed innovative mobile media partnerships with Shazam, Angry Birds, EA Games, and SoundHound.
  • Contributed to Google taking the leading position as the mobile search engine of choice in Russia (at 62% market share) vs. Yandex.

Joined pre-funding and saw Ostrovok become the fastest-growing travel start-up in the CIS . Evolved my role to become the content marketing lead.

  • 2010: Assisted founders with initial investor comms (pitches etc)
  • 2011: Hired and managed a team of 10 remote copywriters to source content for the 150,000 hotel database cost-efficiently,
  • 2012: Launched the company blog with unique content about travel.
  • 2013: Devised social media strategy to grow advocacy among frequent travelers.
