Joined the fastest-growing team at Essence to help Google establish its presence in the Russian market

  • Grew digital budgets for Google RU from $2m/ Q in 2013 to $20m / Q in 2014: launched Google Play, Google App and Chromecast into the RU market.
  • Instigated the use of templated emails to ease supplier negotiation, lead visits to Moscow to negotiate in person
  • Introduced Trello, and later Asana (team task management tools) to enable our small team to sign 90% of top Russian publishers in just under 2 months (over 25 T&Cs signed).
  • Developed innovative partnerships with Shazam, Angry Birds, EA Games, and SoundHound.
  • Contributed to Google taking the leading position as the mobile search engine of choice in Russia (at 62% market share) vs. Yandex
