Director

Sydney Education and Training Institute Pty Ltd

Summary: This was an opportunity I was asked to practice my skill. Initially the company had no products/services or revenue coming. The key focus was to help the main company gain more market share by providing alternative services that international students need. The gap I found was IELTS, leading to other services such as RPL and Training Benchmark. As we networked talking to migration agencies and other business involved in that industry, we had an opportunity to work with some big brands within the migration industry such as ABC Pty Ltd in some of the projects they wanted us to help with. List of some of the activities include:

  • Setting the vision and mission for the company
  • Team building exercises using NLP to ensure the team is performing at high performance
  • Recruitment
  • Creating and implementing B2B referral strategies with migration agencies
  • Calling business and finding out their needs and wants in order to help them find new solutions
  • Market Research to find market gaps in the market
  • Creating operational manuals for efficiency
  • Creating Marketing strategies found from variety of books
  • Mentoring/Coaching staff
  • Seeking out new leads to make make the sales funnel larger

MoneyPenny Taxation Services Pty Ltd

Summary: As a first year undergrad looking to get into the Accounting industry, finding work was tough especially when there were other people who were more qualified applying for the same position.
