An intensive graduate programme that develops recent graduates into key business development managers. My role included work on a key business account (Sainsbury's). Areas of focus and development included buyer support (Weekly BEST meetings with Buyers and Supply Chain), KPI reporting to directors, client relations, planning, marketing, logistical co-ordination, supply chain (forecasting), finance and factory placements. Technological expertise gained were: AMIA Systems facilitator, DTP, Operational Insights and Retek Data Forecasts. During my time working with Sainsbury's I have developed good relationships with key buys and account managers and attained new business for my category.

Toni Glass Collection (FMCG)
A short period as marketing manager before my masters. My role at Toni Glass helped toto develop my skills in online marketing through a placement under the regional marketing manager. An exciting role in a new company which allowed me to take on large amounts of responsibility in a short space of time. Key achievements included moving the businesses Facebook page from hundreds to thousands of likes in just under a month in the role. Other responsibilities included a retail placement, food and beverage service training of clients, public relations, social media development, competitor analysis, distribution coordination, new customer acquisition, brand portfolio implementation and website design.

The Riverbed Agency
An internship position in my final year of my under graduate degree. I managed to secure a 3 month placement in one of the best marketing agencies in South Africa and worked on core portfolios for Proctor and Gamble. I managed brand strategy and online PR campaigns for Gillette's "Movember" Campaign, achieving just over 5000 Facebook likes and the successful launch of the Old Spice Manliest Man Event attended by 300 guests. Skills attained: Guerrilla marketing insight generation, strategy development, market research, data analysis, social media engagement.

A one year placement as a brand ambassador for one of the worlds leading technology companies. I managed and implemented brand campaigns at leading universities around the country with roles in student research, events, campaign launches, sales and marketing implementation. My brand strategy to relaunch the brand to the youth was also selected by the company for future brand relaunch opportunities.
