Director

DataPortability.org
As a director I helped define this not-for-profit advocacy group's charter, its policies, and supervise its programs. The DataPortability Project advocates a borderless experience among web sites, where your social graph, conversation history and everything you do online is available to you wherever you go, across any site. The DPP advocates web site operators use a Portability Policy to explain data portability capabilities and policies they offer visitors. I was part of a small team that wrote the model Portability Policy and launched it in July 2010.
