DPSS-a $1bn turnover division with c1000 employees worldwide-is a major player in the automotive aftermarket sector, and has a product distribution channel of 50, 000 products to 10, 000 customers. Responsibilities Reporting to the Delphi CEO, overall responsibility of the $1b Delphi Aftermarket division In charge of the strategic positioning of Delphi Aftermarket to ensure that financial targets are met and exceeded in order to create the value committed to the shareholders Direct and control 1000 employees, ensure the recruitment, retention, succession and engagement Develop Corporate strategic plan, annual business plan and monitor progress against these plans to ensure that Delphi attains its objectives as cost-effectively and efficiently as possible Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers globally, represent Delphi at AASA and CLEPA board Develop and maintain relevant products offering and communication plan to ensure that the Delphi remains at the top in the industry Ensure that all Delphi products are serviced in best condition and quality to enable expansion of the brand Key Achievements Sales growth of 10% in a flat market(representing 8% improvement in market share) EBITDA grew by 10% first year and 15% second year(to $90m and $105m) Global restructuring of the business creating cost reduction of 2%($20m saving) of revenue from 11% to 9% Deliver strong growth in emerging market by +15% Accelerate growth in Asia Pac and China: built a clear strategy to attack the fast fit channel in China and the internet business(generating $3m addition sales in 2015 and forecast $20m by 2018) Strategic rotation of product portfolio towards high margin products creating 2% overall improvement on sales margin Establish a culture change to focus on ownership(value creation), responsiveness, and team spirit Built a world-class lean supply chain-reduced transport cost by 10%($3m), and implemented a direct shipment to customers strategy Organize workforce
