Lead internal learning and development initiatives for approximately 6,000 client-facing staff of the Firm’s Engineering and Operations Capability (Division).Manage the development and implementation of a Belting Program that offers exceptional functional staff a unique opportunity to develop and be recognized for their skills and expertise.Co-develop a Firm-wide Capability Development Learning Framework and Portal that includes industry-recognized certifications, self-paced and instructor-led courses, social learning assets, and packaged programs of study. Lead the redesign of a Capability Development Strategy, role-based training roadmaps, and Portal infrastructure to deliver core functional development assets.
- Implement a consistent, Firm-wide approach to functional skills development and recognition.Offer clients access to a larger resource pool, as the Firm enhances processes to track and deploy internal functional talent and align to areas of critical client need.Ensure the Firm is building the pipeline of talent needed to sustain growth in alignment with the business strategy. Provide greater career flexibility, including recognition for more than vertical level progression.
- Nurture strong working relationships with Capability partners, vice-presidents and senior managers.Initiate status meetings with primary points of contact to provide updates on the phased approach for the Framework.Schedule discussions to uncover skills gaps impacting the delivery of services to clients and the sourcing of functional training for career development.
- Research current and future learning and development offerings for internal staff of the Operations and Engineering Capability and their five Centers of Excellence. Facilitate skills gap analyses to prioritize future learning needs.Leverage LiveMeeting to conduct ongoing focus group sessions with executives across the USA to determine learning needs aligned with the Firm’s changing business priorities.
- Spearhead programs to gather, analyze and update data for the Learning Portal. Design online tools and surveys to gather certification and training data from subject matter experts, analyze feedback, provide summaries to management, and batch upload to the Portal database.Conduct user acceptance tests and evaluate the Portal’s back and front-end interfaces.
