With more than four decades of relevant professional experience, Dr. Philip H. Levy serves as President and Founder of New York-based PHL HP Consulting Group, Inc. Dr. Levy assists organizations in creating high-performance management and leadership teams that deliver tangible results, fostering corporate stability and financial growth. Services offered include conflict resolution, team building, business culture enhancement, leadership development, and executive coaching. Dr. Levy has recently been appointed Managing Director of C2C, an exclusive category membership organization of senior executives whose purpose is to develop strong business relationships and share professional acumen.Dr. Levy earned his B.A. cum laude at Brooklyn College in New York, subsequently completing his doctoral work in counseling psychology at New York University. He spent several decades building an award-winning organization that focused on bettering the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Dr. Philip H. Levy notably pioneered de-institutionalization strategies, contributing to a social revolution that enabled people with disabilities to assume productive roles in society. The empowering work environment he established within his own organization gave proper recognition to all members as integral parts of a functioning team.Dr. Philip H. Levy established PHL HP Consulting in 2011 upon his retirement from the health and human services organization he had led for decades. Well recognized in his field, Dr. Levy has received numerous awards, including the 2005 Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award, the 2007 American Psychological Association Best Company to Work For award, and Ernst & Young’s New York Metropolitan Area Entrepreneur of the Year in the Social Entrepreneur Category for 2007. Among Dr. Levy’s many authored works is “Public Relations: An Essential Tool for Building an Organization's Identity and Promoting the Values,” which appeared as a chapter in the text Management and Leadership in Social Work Practice and Education, edited by Leon H. Ginsberg.
