As President of Canadian Operations and concurrently Area Vice President of U.S. Operations for the United States National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car, I was asked to redefine and lead the company’s strategy in the wake of 9/11 and bankruptcy status. Within two years, we posted a profit of $50MM. More recently, as Regional Vice President for the nation’s largest owner of apartment communities, I managed a real estate portfolio valued at $450MM and 54 locations Most recently, as a COO of a $150MM company with 115 retail locations, I identified expansion opportunities in closed markets and led the acquisition and corporate conversion of a privately held company. In addition, we reorganized the field operation groups and instituted a performance-based culture that improved operating profit by $4.6MM.
