" The Internship Experience of a Lifetime!" Internship Program Overview: The purpose of the program is to attract Bermuda’s best students to a summer internship experience designed to expose them to different facets of the international business sector of our economy. It is expected that they will significantly increase their knowledge to enable them to make career choices that will ultimately lead to their completion of graduate/professional level education. This program consists of 3 very different work experiences within 10 weeks, focusing on team work, leadership and both personal and professional development. Interns spend a week in orientation, learning valuable teamwork and presenting skills. Then they rotate through the 3 partner companies in two separate groups, working on projects assigned by each company. They gain experience and knowledge in the fields of Insurance/Reinsurance, Financial Services, and Accounting, Assurance and Tax services. Interns are also given the opportunity to work on a community project, allowing them to give back to the Bermudian community.

Kinetics Brand Ambassador ; National Consumer Marketing


Overall Program Description: Launched in January, 2009, NASCAR Kinetics is NASCAR's college experience program. Selected students at 4 universities (Central Michigan University, Howard University, the University of Texas Pan-America, and Winston-Salem State University) participate in a semester-long program that immerses them into the business of NASCAR. Each school’s NASCAR Kinetics Team will help find solutions to business cases presented throughout the semester and will also throw the ultimate NASCAR viewing party at their school. Case studies will be based upon actual NASCAR initiatives and can be developed by and for NASCAR Official Partners. The winning school’s team, based on case study and viewing party performance, will travel to Charlotte to attend the NASCAR Sprint All-Star race and interact with prominent NASCAR and Official Partner business professionals. I was apart of this Annual NASCAR Charter Program. •Led multi-functional five-woman team responsible for creating brand awareness of NASCAR •Utilizing discussions, field research, and professional contacts to complete strategic marketing projects •Event Planning: Executed successful NASCAR events including an Official NASCAR Viewing Party for hundreds of people and our first "Racing for the Dream: Motorsports Mix 'N Mingle Museum" which was dedicated to the education of African-Americans in the Motorsports Industry. • Responsible for $1,200 budget and acquiring sponsorships to offset costs
