Provided the leadership and expertise towards executing primary business objectives of developing innovative ways to deliver automated underwriting decisions and data to a broad range of customers at the highest performance levels.

Primary business focus is systems development for automating and aggregating consumer information for use by the Insurance industry through technology. Overall responsibility for the strategic direction, implementation and operations of all applications and systems for the company.

  • Chief Architect and Technical Manager of Company Flagship Data product, Realtime DataSource, an integrated online applicant data verification resource for automated field underwriting and risk evaluation by underwriters, in a multi-tenant platform (SaaS).
  • Chief Architect and Technical Manager for Company Flagship Application Processing System, Realtime STP, a solution for delivering various functions, such as product quoting, electronic applications, electronic signatures, reflexive questions, online third-party verification data, workflow rules engines, underwriting decisioning engines, and document management.

Recent Projects include:

Establish complete technology infrastructure for startup phase organization in the Online Media industry. This included over growth strategy and planning, internal systems vendor evaluation and implementation, internal IT operational policies and procedures, data security and compliance.

Work with senior leadership within a cutting edge voice technology company, to establish a technology strategy for expanding existing product lines to approach new markets in order to achieve strategic growth initiatives.

As part of Acquisition of the Insurint technology by Connecture, initial primary role was to ensure a seamless transition of the Insurint technology into the Connecture infrastructure. This included transfer of existing IT infrastructure and technology, establishing and training development and support staff as well as establish product development methodologies to ensure the continued success of the product line.

On-going Primary role is to provide strategic technology expertise and oversight as well as establishing organizational product technology direction to support the diverse strategic business initiatives.

  • Identified and established strategic goals and objectives for the Insurint program as part of the Connecture management team, and led execution and completion of the technology implementations to support those goals and objectives.
  • Managed technology transfer and establishment of development teams to enable first platform improvements within 2 months of acquisition.
  • Established Policy and Procedures for Product development and management to allow for continued growth of Product.
  • Facilitated initial cross product development project by providing technical expertise across various product technologies and architectures.

  • Established and managed a team that redesigned distributed network infrastructure, providing a robust infrastructure for growth and virtually eliminating failures and system downtime.
