Montclair Public Library

Manage the talented and dedicated staff of 36 FTE's to provide excellent programs for the 37,000 residents of Montclair.  Utilizing an annual budget of $3.6 million we serve over 375,000 visitors annually in a community where  81% hold a library card.


Special Events/Senior Librarian

Dallas Public Library

Assisted in the planning and coordination of large scale special events in close collaboration with the Special Events Administrator and the Friends of the Dallas Public Library.


Central Library District Manager/Senior Librarian

Dallas Public Library

Provided oversight and direction to public service managers at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library (Downtown Branch and Circulation Services; Humanities; Fine Arts; Business and Technology; Government Information Center;  Dallas History and Archives/Fine Books; Genealogy, History and Social Sciences) and indirectly supervised a public service staff of over 80

Interfaced with facility services staff to coordinate maintenance of the over 464,000 square foot building (the 4th largest public central library in the US)

Assisted in interviewing qualified applicants for various positions including selecting, hiring and training employees


Southeast District Manager/Senior Librarian

Dallas Public Library

Provided oversight and direction to the branch managers of the Kleberg-Rylie, Prairie Creek, Pleasant Grove, Skyline, and White Rock Hills Branches in an ethnically, culturally and socioeconomically diverse region of the city.


Branch Manager

Dallas Public Library

Responsible for the day to day operations of the Audelia Road Branch, one of the busiest branches in the city, while supervising a staff of 10.


Assistant Branch Manager

Acted as person in charge in the absence of the Branch Manager.  Interfaced with staff and community groups to develop programming and events.

Served as solo librarian to a student population of 100 students K-12 in an international, ESL learning environment.
