“It’s the snow” is Big Whites motto and they live up to their name with an average 750cm of Okanagan champagne powder falling annually. I spent the 2008-2009 snow season working at Central Reservations in the heart of Big White.


Activity Specialist

Ramapo Country Day Camp - Airmont, United States of America

I was privileged to spend the summer of 2008 at Ramapo Country Day Camp in New York. A private camp nestled on over 35 acres of woodlands, rolling hills, streams, trails and open space. My role as an Activity Specialist involved leading programs in the outdoor adventure section of the camp. Campers were taught programs that encourage them to explore individual and team skills and help them realise their potential.



Investment Advice Diploma (IAD)

Currently studying the Investment Advice Diploma (IAD) having completed the subjects, UK Regulation & Professional Integrity and Investment, Risk and Taxation. The IAD was specifically developed to comply with the examination standards of the RDR and it appears on the FCA’s appropriate qualification tables. The course provides a sound grounding in UK financial services and consumer relationships, macro-economic environment, settlement, safe custody and prime brokerage, exchange traded futures and options and financial protection.


SMSF Association Specialist Advisor (SSA) Accreditation Program

The accreditation program recognises my skills and knowledge of the SMSF sector as well as knowledge of the SIS, Tax and Corporations Law. The program covers industry standards, fund setup, contributions, investment rules, fund taxation, benefit payments and winding up funds.

Football Integration Development Association (FIDA)

Volunteered with the Football Integration Development Association (FIDA), in partnership with the Shire of Yarra Ranges and the Montrose Football Club to offer people with an intellectual disability, the opportunity to learn the skills of Australian Rules Football.

These clinics have provided participants with an opportunity to improve their motor skills and growth in personal development through increased opportunities for social interaction.
