Peter Murray

First Engagement Senior Team Leader

About Me

I have worked in the Not-For-Profit sector for the last 5 years. I have been an instrumental figure in setting up and operationalising a new fundraising initiative within the industry. My task is to establish and deliver a First Engagement team to encourage the public to sign petitions, take action on global issues on inequality and greatly increase the donor base. In our first year, I have nurtured and managed a team that has gained over 65,000 new supporters and over 1,500 new regular donors to assist in Oxfam's humanitarian work. Now in its second year, this has become a sustainable and very successful venture and one, I have no doubt, that will influence the way other NGO's grow support in the future.
