An innovative and experienced New York teacher, Peter Bogolub strives to inspire personal creativity in students as he imparts subject matter and life skills. In his current position as lead teacher at Leadership and Public Service High School in New York, he teaches a philosophy through art class where students are invited to create pieces based on philosophical explorations. Peter Bogolub also serves as the school’s coordinator of English as a Second Language (ESL), ensuring that ESL students are receiving the services they need to succeed. Additionally, he acts as a liaison between the school and various state and federal agencies.
A graduate of the University of Florida with a BA in history and minor in secondary education, Peter Bogolub also holds an MA in secondary education with a concentration in history from City College of New York. Prior to joining Leadership and Public Service High School, Mr. Bogolub held teaching positions at Brooklyn’s Urban Assembly of Music and Art and at Samuel Gompers High School in the Bronx.
