I am a seasoned professional of D/SCM in Electronics with 21 years of international experience in D/SCM and Sales & Account Management. My international career has included several posts in Europe, US and Asia.
I have been fortunate to have worked for top companies like Nokia, Lucent and Elcoteq during my year career.
My first 10 years I spent in PC industry, all within the same company though the company name changed several times due to mergers and acquisitions.
During my time in Enics, I was VP, D/SCM in the company until 02/2008 (located in Finland), when I was nominated as Senior Vice President, APAC & Global Sourcing and changed my post to Hong Kong.
I have been member of Enics's management team since the start.
Acapo Group was a start-up company focusing capacity rental for final assembly for electronics, mainly for mobile phone industry. Our business idea was centered around leasing fully automated FA solutions, enabling our customers to move FA closer to market with low cost level.
I joined the company in the very beginning, during those two years we set up offices in Hong Kong, Finland, Japan and USA, as well as joint venture operation in China.
I started my post in Hong Kong and ended it in Finland.
We did not survive our death valley and the company was bankrupted in May 2004.
I was hired to Elcoteq to start up operation in Malaysia. As plans changed, I was posted in Hong Kong as first Elcoteq employee in the area after just few months in Malaysia. In Hong Kong I started as responsible for After Sales services, but quickly moved to SCM. I was part of the regional management team, and participated in 2 mergers and 1 greenfield.
As the organisations changed, I also took over the regional sales activities as Director, Sales & SCM.
I was Global Account Manager for Nokia Group, at the time consisting of Nokia Net and Nokia Mobile Phones.
