As Building Engineer my responsibilities encompass the skills and experience necessary to operate a biomedical/research building mechanical, electrical, pluming and associated support equipment. I am responsible for completing request with varying degrees of difficulty under minimal supervision. I provide mentorship and guidance the facilities aide and engineering personal. I Coordinate outside vendors/contractors support including project management, quality control of products and services delivered. I provide coverage in the absence of the Chief Building Engineer. I provide emergency response during working and non working hours.

Maintenance Lead


As Maintenance lead for 12 person crew I worked primarily on apartment maintenance. When tenants moved out the maintenance team was in charge of restoring the apartments for the new tenant. This primarily involved patching, painting, replacing lights, wood restoration, light plumbing and electrical. In addition completing these tasks  I was in charge of the final punch list, training new employees, and stocking/maintaining supplies.
