I am a Sophomore Economics major at DePauw University. I currently live in Cincinnati, OH when I am not at DePauw University, but I have moved many times in my life and adapt quickly to change. I went to Wyoming High School in Cincinnati; it is one of the top public schools in the state.

While I have declared an Economics major, I do not know what my career path will be. I understand that non traditional markets will emerge in the future, and I plan to continue with language and study abroad. I may possibly also search for an internship abroad in the future.

DePauw University

I am currently a Sophomore at DePauw University. DePauw is ranked as the 51st best liberal arts college in the nation, and is one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the Midwest. I am in two honors programs, Management Fellows, and Information Technology Associates Program (ITAP).

The Management Fellows program is a selective program for top students interested in business and economics. The program includes a core curriculum, special seminars, lectures, semester-long off campus internship during the junior year.

ITAP  provides DePauw students with a unique opportunity to hold on-campus internships centering on technology and leadership for four years in a liberal arts setting. As a first year in the program, I completed six week long learning rotations on different subjects. My subjects include Audio Recording, Computer Service & Support, Web Authoring, and Digital Video.  This year I am working on the Science Research Fellows honors program's website to create content and make it more ascetically appealing for recruitment purposes.

As an First-Year in the program, Apprentices go through four, six-week training rotations. By the end of second semester, I will have completed Audio-Recording, Computer Service and Support, Web Authoring, and Digital Video.

-Audio Recording was a mixture of hardware and software. It included setting all the microphones and    equipment from scratch. We connected the microphones to the computer and recorded via Avid ProTools. Then, with the raw recording, we learned to cut and paste segments to create a clean track of music and add effects to the music. The whole rotation centered around a final project that included making and editing a recording.

-Computer Service and Support consisted of a tour of the tech support that DePauw offered. The apprentices shadowed workers at the help desk, tech center, and digital media office.

-Web Authoring is a run-down of the basics of Adobe Dreamweaver. So far, we have learned how to style texts and make basic lists and links. We are currently learning how to create an overall design for the page, which will amount to a fully functional web page made from scratch by the end of the rotation.

-Digital Video included weekly small videos and a professional quality video about a DePauw news article. All edits were made using FinalCut Pro. The video is attached to this CV.

Bag Room Attendant

Wyoming Golf Club

I worked as a customer service representative for the members. I managed the golf carts, the stored golf clubs, and the concessions for the pool. I also worked in the Pro Shop, dealing with tee times, pro shop sales, and cataloging players. During down time, I would do various tasks that members requested or stock the shops.

I have completed a project that required creating a professional quality video for DePauw's website. It consisted of  a five person group. We all split up the interviewing, shooting, and editing equally.
I have had 4 years of high school Spanish and am currently taking Spanish conversation and phonetics (330) in college. I plan to take more in the future and possibly take a semester abroad in a Spanish speaking country.
