I sorted emails and carried out research on Marriage & Parenthood policies in Asia.
I was posted to the Overseas Singaporean Unit, under the National Population and Talent Division, Prime Minister's Office, for my 6-month internship. I was in charge of creating content for Singaporean children based overseas. I worked on 2 projects : an e-newsletter, Red & White, which I co-created the concept for alongside another intern, as well as Recess Rewind, a video series.
I taught basic French to a UWC SEA student and 'O' Level English.
I can teach English and Chinese for primary to secondary levels, basic French, and Mathematics and Science for primary levels.
Literature and Creative Writing are subjects that I am able to teach as well.
In this course, I've learnt about journalism, film-making and scriptwriting for TV. I have been involved in the production of 2 short documentaries, 1 scene from a drama and a video promoting the course.
My final cumulative GPA stands at 3.759.
I applied to take up a Diploma-Plus, which is an additional certificate, in Humanitarian Affairs. I learnt about disaster relief, fundraising, stakeholder relations and other things related to humanitarian affairs. I was selected to join Mercy Relief on a relief mission to Japan in May 2011, which was a life-changing experience. Since then, I've represented the team in interviews and at events, and received the Outstanding Lionhearters Award in February 2012. I completed the Diploma-Plus with a GPA of 4.0, and am currently a volunteer with Mercy Relief.

Summer school. Took intermediate German as well as Youth Cultures in German Literature.
Attended Sciences Po. Paris Summer School 2013, where I learnt more about French History, Debating, Writing and Political Science. Intensive French lessons were also provided, and I earned a certificate equivalent to the DALF C1 upon completion of the programme.
The subjects I took were : English, English Literature, Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Biology (Pure), Chemistry (Pure) , Chinese, Higher Chinese and French.
I was part of the school choir, which won Gold (with Honours) at SYF 2007 and 2009.
I would like to pursue a career in the journalism, humanitarian or performing arts sector. The right job for me would allow me to use my language skills and writing ability to the fullest.
